In-Step Mobility introduces the U-Step II, a walker that features the unique U-shaped base and maneuverability of the original U-Step along with improvements including:
- Larger front casters
- Lighter weight
- An easy-to-use locking mechanism
- Tilting capability for curbs

The U-Step II retains these popular features of the original U-Step:
- Pull-to-go brake control; squeezing one lever releases both brakes
- A turning circle of only 29 inches
- A 22-inch width for navigating narrow doorways
- Variable-resistance control to slow the rolling speed as desired
- Spring-loaded front wheel for smoother navigation over bumps
The optional laser cueing module projects a horizontal red line on the floor to help those with freezing gait to position their feet.
Available upon request is an alternative brake accessory that attaches across the two handlebars, allowing the user to release the brakes from a central position instead of the sides.
For short patients who require a hand grip height lower than 30 inches, we recommend the original U-Step model in the short frame (phone orders only).
